is a member of my extended Dickson/Dixon family
is a member of my extended Templeton family
is a member of my extended Dunlop family


and here are the common abbreviations I've used ....

d. died
m. married
OPR. Old Parish Registers - the pre-1855 registers of the Church of Scotland which record baptisms, marriage banns and burials
RCE. The Register of Corrected Entries which record formal amendments to birth, marriage or death certificates after Statutory Registration started in Scotland in 1855
